EP is a smart Resource Management platform that helps large organizations quickly build and staff projects by matching roles with the right talent based on skills and experience. During a one year cooperation I supported the team in developing over 10 new modules as well as improving existing features.
During a yearly cooperation as a one-man design army I played a role in developing ~14 modules as a part of MVP.

Design as a medium of communication
In a true startup whirlwind with rudimentary documentation it was crucial to start with user flows, then wireframes, then UI. Initial flows and wireframes allowed to close the controversy over business and technological assumptions. Bottom line: when you want to see what’s missing in the concept, try to design it.
Good design doesn’t defend itself—you have to.
When most energy is devoted to delivering new functionality, changes to existing features require solid justification. Design improvements must be defended with clear reasoning, and sometimes the current solution is simply good enough.
Disassemble Blackboxes
In a neurodiverse and multilingual environment, there was a risk that team members would form their own interpretations of the core principles behind the concepts being developed. My role as a designer was to unpack these black boxes at the right moment — to prevent investing time in a UI based on an imagined idea that lacked shared understanding.
Bottom line: disassemble black boxes as soon as possible, even if it means asking questions that seem stupid.
Design for the dummies, not smart-ass.
In case of solution that will be used by thousands employes adjust the level of complexity to those who are not as techsavy as you.
Bottom line: you live in the bubble.
