Shutter is the brainchild of a photography enthusiast — an app designed to remotely control advanced features of Sony and Canon cameras. As part of the team, I was responsible for wireframes and the visual direction of a complex application closely integrated with physical devices.

The cross-language naming draws on the theme of addiction, a concept also reflected in the visual communication through references to packaging of addictive substances such as nicotine. An important element is the experimental Cakra typeface, a fresh interpretation of a classic—just like blueberry buns reimagined by Jagojunkies.
